Silkroad Online Forums

Well I installed sro on my usb. I can start it just fine and I can login. But when I select my character and press Start, Silkroad closes and it gives me the ???? error.
I don't know why it is, maybe the usb stick (8GB) can't handle it? Or something went wrong with the installation?
I tried copying the whole map to the C: harddisk but gave me the same error.

Anyways, I'll try reinstalling after the new update. Hopefully it will work then.

In the meantime, does anyone know why it isn't working?

I'm not sure .. but I tried installing on an external hdd
and it worked fine (used that to play at school's computer )

maybe your installation wasn't clean

try installing on the C: then copy the silkroad folder to the usb stick

I cant see installing it onto your HDD helping much, only causing confusion. just try a clean install there shouldn't be any reason why it won't work

it'd help if u want to play on a computer that you can't install on it
or if you are an sro addict and want to have the game with you everywhere and play instantaneously XD

reinstall on the c drive then move all files over to the usb drive and change the shortcut

when i installed silkroad to my flash drive, i get this error. I did as all of u said... Installed silkroad to C: directory on the computer first, then copied the silkroad folder to my flash drive. =( help please xD
