i need serious help

alright well i bought my freinds old computer for $40 bucks, its a 2003. I'm guessing that it's custom because the outter case has no markings on it. it runs on an intel processor and the graphics card is essentially built into the motherboard. i have multiple problems:
1/2 of the time i turn the computer on, i get no response from the mouse or keyboard.
on my first attempt to play silkroad on this computer, it said that i didnt have the most recent graphics driver, so i managed to find it and download it, but now when i try to start up sro, it doesnt tell me that message, it just opens up the little rectangle and than stops responding.


i am wondering if i could upgrade the ram for this computer because it only hase about 512(only detects 484 though...) but i dont know how to find the right ram because i dont know the make of the computer. please, if youre a computer wizz and can help me out, please do so, it would be greatly appreciated.

The type of RAM you're looking for, is the exact same type allready in your computer atm. As for if you can upgrade, probably, but i'd check to see what your mainboard supports.
