Black Screen O_O

My friend tryed to play the game but he cant, cuz when he loads the sro client, rite after the small sro window for loading it, the screen goes black and nothing happen... i know his comp isnt the best of all but still, why does he get tht?

did u check if his comp specs are good enough for SRO? is it laptop?

His graphics card or driver is not working. Probably the driver since its a black screen, tell him to update his driver.

mine goes black for like 3 minutes, then the game starts. Tell him to have patience...

that happened to me when i was a noob on comps and was trying to play guildwars, he needs a better graphics card

I would say graphics card, buton the other hand I play with 2 computers, one is a piece of crap with extremely crappy stats and my main one is a power house laptop and I dont get that on either, the old bad thing is on my junk laptop it takes 3-4 minutes to start and be logged into the game on my good one im in withing 30 secs of clicking on the start icon.

Either the computer specs are not good enough, or he has to wait longer.

On my old pentium3 it takes 1~2 minutes of black screen before the log in screen shows.
