Check this problem out

Post by Polski »

Alright, so i have a '1337' computer as you want to call it. AMD 4000+ processor, 1 gig of ram and a 256 Geforce 6800 video card. I got silkroads and my i checked my options to what my computer reccomends to play. My graphic quality is on high and resolution is default. Anyways, i already registered and created a character. Everything seems smooth and right TILL this part. I join a server and the game loads up. I am very CHOPPY not LAGGY but choppy because i have a fast internet connection. In town, its like hell, I can barely navigate my character without hitting anything. In the battlefields where there is less people to interact and enemies, the choppyness still occurs and its impossible to play the game. Well, not impossible but if you were in my shoes the game would be a nightmare to actually have "fun" with the perspective of my SRO. Anywayz, ANOTHER big ISSUE. After I realize this issue, I exit the game. However, My entire taskbar at the bottom is gone and all my applications are closed. I can't see my start button but I can click it and it will open up and i can restart my computer and everything would return to normal. It's a huge pain because I have many other applications running and they all close.
If anyone has any solutions or ideas, I would appreciate for your help.

you should open your computer up and clean alll the dust off. Same thing happened to me. A can of dust off sprays all the dust away. When you load it up for the first time the game will go super slow after the dust is gone. Give the computer some time to warm up and then your computer and silkroad should be going better than it used to. It helped me get rid of major lag!
