how can i make sro run better on my comp.

Background info: everytime i used to play sro it take forever to load, and i lag ingame and ingame response was horrible.

Ok, first tell us your PC specs.

and second, is it LAG or the pc just freezes?

solution for lag:

-try doing a spyware/virus scan
-avoid doing downloads
-get a better isp

solution for pc freezing:

-(in game) go to Option-> Video -> Grafic quality set to LOW
-change the resolution of the game
-use the classic windows theme (it reduces the ram consuming a lot)
-get a better grafic card

like i to lag ingame but not crazyly ... and time to time when i play my comp would switch to a black screen, then switch to a blue screen telling me some wrong has happened, and i have to restart from there on.

edit: bump, i really need help :cry:

your computer spec is crap, i mean come on 512mb ram and 128mb graphic card?

same like my stalling pc spec amd semphron 1.5ghz 512ram and 9250 ati (128mb).

with this spec u cant play silkroad, but its great for stalling.

better upgrade your ram to 1gb and graphic card to 256mb atleast 128bit for lag free and do adjust your crappy page file to 3000mb-4000mb, it will help a lot.

if you really want to make someone feel bad about his specs, at least make
sure your computer beats just about anything around. my laptop specs are
better than your pc specs lol, and sro can easily run on Panu's computer, just
not on all highest settings, and you will lag in towns.

yea, so true, thats how i used to play till something bad happened, then my comp kept freezing ...
