Odd SRO Occurence

Post by Necrobat »

For some reason my SRO only seems to want to play Europe characters, and not Chinese ones.
Whenever I select a Chinese character, it starts loading and then exits and I get the "??????" error. But if I choose a Euro one, it loads unless the server is full.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?

Not yet; I'll probably try that on the weekend when I have time to sit down with it.

Sorry for the double post, but I tried reinstalling, and the client still crashes when I try to do anything to do with making a Chinese character, or playing a Chinese character.
When I tried to reinstall it, it said something about 'This is a client to play the Europe update.' Then I need to reopen the installer.
It's nothing to do with that either; I gave it to my friend and it installed perfectly without any problems.

Does anyone have any idea what this might be?

Sorry for the triple post now, but I have a feeling that my computer might not be able to handle that half of the game, even though my computer is well above minimum.

I tried with a different client that I got off a friend, and I still encounter the same problem. =/

Please don't triple post unless you really need the bump, which you don't since this is TH section -_-, and there's a delete button now. I doubt it's computer trouble, but just in case you should run to a Chinese map under level 12 and see if it loads, if it does it's another problem. I would think pk2 but you've reinstalled. Maybe try a defrag, and disk clean up, and maybe a error check. Also check out the post on how to make your computer work better, I think it's in the TH stick, if not I'll find you the link, or better yet, you can look for it while I'm off.

Yeah, I'll fix that up. Sorry about that.

I defragged it and it didn't work. I got it working last night though by creating large paging files on my two other HDDs.
