European Error Please Read

I use to have Silkroad on my computer, however i had to reformat my hard drive. Then I got on the computer and tried to download the European version. After about 5 hours of downloading it was complete. I tried to open it to install, and it brings up a gray box with black letters that read Please Wait.... After about 1-2 minutes an error box comes up that says this file can be used after the European update. I read someones elses post in here that said to make a new folder on the c drive in program files just for Silkroad. I was wondering if someone could tell me what all of this means and why it has to be downloaded into that folder.[/b]
