Odd

I got a new monitor, recommended resolution is 1440x900, its LG 20" widescreen LCD. But i logged onto silkroad last night and noticed something was odd, the colors in the higher resolution is really bright. If i lower (it looks weird because its widescreen obviously...) Dunno anyone else have this? Here is screenshot:

Looks like bloom effect to me.

There is an option to change game brightness at startup maybe that will help.

Nope, the guild chat was like orange before. Union chat green and party chat blue, the colors are like all the same now. and maybe because im on this monitor im seeing the screenshot differently.

those colours look fine to me, but are you sure theres no pre-defined settings in the monitor? try a reset on the monitor maybe? how do you know the colours before werent screwed and that these colours are the normal ones?

crt to lcd is a massive change, i dont think there is a problem. either that or your eyes are broken.

It looks perfectly fine to me! I have a CRT monitor and it looks the same. Its the "Bloom Effect" like everybody said!

Maybe Its the screen aspect ratio that makes it look weird. Also, try adjusting the color temperature on you monitor!

HI res graphics settings changes a lot even the colors the game has different set of looks for hi res mode, enjoy it!
