overheating

When I play SRO occasionaly my laptop completely shuts off. I'm pretty sure its because of SRO becuase:

1. it doesn't usually happen while I have a fan behind the computer to blow the hot air away
2. it didn't happen before SRO, and it doesn't happen when i'm not on SRO

so does anyone have any sugestions...i think i've got a program that will let me change my fan speed, which i might do...when my roommate left he took his fan and thats the reason why this is now a problem..

one more thing, i'm assuming SRO won't play on a dial up, right?

Check if the fans are free from dust or any obstruction.
Check if there's a good air flow.

Its all clear, and i even elevated the back up on soda bottle lids (ghetto) to get more clearance, and thx i found the thread. i'll probably just go out and buy another little fan, i thinks the game makes my 'puter think to hard
