This is a fun game, but there are some things that i can't believe haven't been fixed yet.
1) Having to do the verification thing every time i log in. If it's to help against botting character creation, then WHY do i have to do it when i want to log in? Maybe do it at the character creation screen? This becomes 10x worse because of the other problems. Or at least make us only have to do it once a day or something.
2) Server problems. I know, servers cost money, but having every single server "Crowded" and me spending an hour trying to get into the game (and still haven't) is unacceptable. Maybe it's my fault for getting Xian, and not a newer server....
3) When I cannot log in, THE CLIENT EXITS OUT? What? Only to have to restart it and do the verification thing again? Now picture that for an hour.
-_-;
Meh. I know that they aren't doing it on purpose, i just had to rant...
I have to rant

Both the verification code and disconnection after an unsuccessful login are, as was well noted already, measures against auto-loging by bots.
As for crowded servers, it can't be helped. If the servers' capacity was raised the amount of lags and DCs would increase as well. And this is a very good game so naturally there are many players wanting to play, which is why the servers are often crowded.
A solution to all these problems would simply be logging in at low-time, which is after 10:00 pm GMT and before 11:00 am GMT. You can then simply leave the game running and play when you come back from school/work/whatever.
