I have a relatively good computer
Manufacturer:
HP Pavilion 061
Processor:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory:
1014MB RAM
Hard Drive:
240 GB
Video Card:
Intel(R) G965 Express Chipset Family
Operating System:
Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158)
Also with Wireless Internet around 1MB Download Rate

But everything time i play, theres Lag anywhere I go. I tried reducing the quality of the graphics, Watercolor, shadow and everything. But no use.
There is always lag whenever i play, Anysuggestions to reduce Lag? :?

Alright first of all, where you from??
Are you from South East Asia? If you are,then that explains the lag. The Taiwan Earthquake cut off many underwater cables which has affected the internet in many parts of Asia.
I live in the Middle East and I cant play Silkroad atm because of the lag, its affected the middle east too.

And if you've not heard of the earthquake and the problems its caused..UR LIVING UNDER A ROCK.

if the servers overloaded and caused the lag....everyone would give up playing Silkroad..the servers never cause lag when their overloaded.

First of all...
i life in Curacao beautifull Island, not with earthquake bad luck like u..if u want check my island site: http://www.curacao.com and u will find it your self..and shut u up...

and i dont have any lag problems like u do...and the earthquake from taiwan i already know...

the one who give up for SRO is someone like u ....so u are telling Joymax putting more server for no reason then...cuz the server are heavy loaded...and more players , thats why more server are coming...
what for non-sence u are talking....

dont tell me u never came the problem, when u try to login, u get the message, Cant connect due server traffic, dont tell me is that the taiwan earthquake effect this...

DUMASSES like you is what SRF does not need.

I wasnt toking to you, i was talking to the topic starter.
As for server loading...just because sometimes it shows 'canot connect due to server traffic' does not mean the servers will lag...omg...how stupid can people get...and that does not mean the server has HEAVILY LOADED...that means the server is FULL!!...There's a huge difference.

The servers are 'HEAVILY LOADED' most of the time; this means according to you, whenever the servers get "HEAVILY LOADED' they will start lagging. That makes no f***ing sense at all. But why am I arguing with you. You need to go take english lessons first! You really need them

OMG...Thats not because of server being full or as you say 'HEAVILY LOADED'...it happens even when wervers are Populated.

Its a bludy frame rate issue..not a server issue..

It isn't a frame rate issue idiot. If you don't know anything about client to server coorespondence don't speak.

Your problem is going to simply be because of the fact that the Silkroad server is always transmiting data about each of the characters you see and their posistion, what they're doing. You are only seeing this information about everyone in your FOV. If they arien't in your FOV then the only data you receive from them is global data. So during this process you've got hundreds-thousands of people asking for return information from the server and sending information to the server. This require a lot of server and topology power, which will create lag unless they have some super powerful servers. There isn't really any way to correct this besides donating as much money as you can to SRO and see if they upgrade anything. Remember, free games don't make much money.
Intelligence is only a value if you choose to harness it, otherwise it is simply a joke to be laughed at.

plus it still lags WHENEVER i play, even the server is not crowded. IT also lags when im training

Where you are doesn't matter at all. Unless you're right next to the SRO building and have a direct line to their servers that doesn't go through an ISP. The lag isnt' caused from the net, it is more that the servers arein't processing everything around you and reporting it to you fast enough.

i lag every time and i live in canada. im using a laptop with windows vista. got 1gb ram. AND THAT LAG MAKES ME UNCOMFORTABLE :banghead:
