Prolem starting up the game...

Hello. I'm new here, and to Silkroad, but I am having a problem.

I've played Silkroad before, but under v1.01 and not v1.02 (or 1.065 and not 1.093). Some friends of mine got into it, so I decided to play again. When I install it fine, update it fine, etc etc. The only problem is whenever I press 'Start' for the game, it seems like it loads up, but the screen turns black and I can only hear the music, see the cursor, and see the 'Start' menu for windows, and my shortcuts on that bar at the bottom. Any help on this?

Your monitor cannot display the games resolutions, check which resolution it is loading through the 'options' menu, and try to set it at your desktop resolution.

My Monitor is 1280 x 800, and the two closest to that are 1280 x 768 (or 63) and 1280 x 1024. I've tried both, and got the same result; Black screen, just see cursor and hear music, and see my Windows 'Start' menu and Quick launch icons.

Uh, then change your desktop resolution to one supported by the game, and try it.
