Level 18 weapons

Post by phroxen »

I have a few 18 lvl weapons which have phy attack from 69-85 but when I use them they only do 40-50 dammage. The durability is all fixed, and I still get low level damage from these weapons. Bow; Vicious Snake Spear; and Kang Tribe Cutting Blade. If anyone can help out, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
phroxen

The damage will never be the same as you expect.

Im guessing you have never played another RPg in your life then?

HP values scale up, as do armor values. You will find yourself doing more and more damage, when in fact it is an enormous ammount more when you go back.

If you head backwards as your damage ramps up into the 100's - 200's (pure strength) on mobs at your level, you'll find that you are dealing upwards of 1500 dmg to mobs of low level (IE mangyangs)

I notice this too. When using glaive on equal lvl mobs, I do about 80-90 dmg a hit. BUT when I imbue (ice or fire) my dmg jumps to 110-130. Sure it adds dmg, but some mobs have higher Phys resist than others so elemental dmg hurts them more.

Your absolutly correct. I have never played any other RPG. But I am speaking about the weapons being the same, and enemies being the same; but the hit power is different. Who knows :S

Your status also effect the damage
full str? full int? hybrid?

str will do more damage than int (without imbue) :)
