Ive been having problems with every online game ive ever played, and im not quite sure what it is. Its started with my very first pc games, through rose online, ragnarok, etc, and onto silkroad. It seems like whenever i leave town and head outside to fight, the screen goes all screwy. I've updated my gfx driver, it is well powerful enough, but it seems something is just always slightly wrong.
That's very wrong.
Make -absolutely- sure your drivers are the latest version. This means go to the manufacturer's website right now, and check their latest driver versions with the ones reported by your system in DXDiag.
Other than this, I wouldn't rule out an old/damaged card, or overheating.
