Game wont play

Hi everyone, whenever I try to play Silkroad, it opens the launcher, then closes it a second after. I downloaded Direct X 9.0 before I downloaded the game, but it still did it. My sister downloaded the game on her computer and it works fine. I would really appreciate some help, this game looks really good and I want to play it. PLEASE help me.

Is tis problem seen only with SRO or other games which works on DX9??
Watz the RAM and OS on ur comp??

I'm having exactly the same problem :-\

I have DX 9.0c

I've got an Athlon 64bit 3000 with 1G ram and Gforce6600GT gfx
OS = Windows XP home ed
