Problem when im playing in Bandit den (Jangan)

Post by Chaos_Raptor »

Hello Silkroad Forums,
I'm new and I hope u can help me with my problem:

I have been able to play silkroad normally for about 3 months without any bug or anything.
But since the last patch (9/01/07) I have started to experience a strange bug when im fighting in bandit den (Jangan).
When i'm fighting in bandit den my screen always turns purple after a time.
( this is no set time, but various.)

-->At first I'm able to play normally like i was always able to.
-->I've always experienced this in bandit den (Jangan)

--> my screen turns into purple rectangless which are ordenened in lines of other rectangles, it's basicly a roster of rectangles with various sorts of purple.
My mouse changes into a purple box with a strange mouse pointer in it.
When I experience this i can't do anything anymore the rectangles make it impossible to see anything
and the purple ruins my whole screen.
The only way to get rid of this is to close silkroad with ctrl/alt/delete
and restart my computer.
When i close silkroad when the bug took effect my whole computer has this.
So everything then is purple and in rectangles.
When my computer is restarted everything goes back normal but when i play silkroad again, the bug starts again after a while.
:banghead: :banghead:

I Have only had this bug when playing silkroad now after the new patch.
I tried other games and they didn't turn purple with rectangles or anything.

Anyone an idea what it is? :?
I never had a patch error or something,
and after an reinstall it wasn't fixed

I'm almost sure it isn't my computer, because i could play silkroad before the patch.

Ty in advance :D

Sounds like a direct draw error. Turn down your graphics quality and texture quality, see if that helps.
