white dots, artifacts

I am now playing on my somewhat new pc, hurraay !
Anyways, I'm getting white dots all over the screen when I play. They're tiny pixels and switch every second.
I also have some sort of Crab thingy growing outside some of the characters, I saw that before, and someone said' It's your graphic card, begging for help!'.
I have installed the latest drivers but it wont change a thing. I've also installed latest direct x, nothing

So, if anyone knows what the problem is, and/or how to fix it, please tell. Thanks!

i know that this isnt an answer, but i have the same problem..my graphics drivers are up to date etc... but, i do find that i get artifacts and the "white dots" whenever the game has been running for a while and my laptop starts to get a bit warm.

But hey...this is minor compared to my problem...i cant even run the game at all
