Update Driver
I've tried updating the driver, but no matter which download i choose it says I don't have hardware compatible with it. I have an NVidia GeForce2 Ti according to dxdiag. If anyone has found a download that works for it, please help.

yeah, i hv the exact same problem.
it says something unusual has to stop the program from working.
some C++ visual lib thing.
but then when i try to install any NVidia or ATI, it says that i dont have any hardware/software compatible with it.
I use a DELL window XP Intel R 4............ can someone help plz? wht can i do to play the game?!

Possible Solution
Alright, here's what I did. My computer would always say I don't have the hardware/software for the driver I tried to install. So, when I went to an NVidia site to download, there was a "Read This First" link. The link told me to do some stuff like no virus software in the background and such, but the important part was where it said "Make sure you uninstall all current drivers before installing another." So, I went to Add/Remove Progams found the NVidia drivers and removed them from my computer. After restarting, I just decided to check SRO and sure enough, it started working. I went back to the download site and got the driver and it still works. Hope this helps

Well, I was talking about the driver for my video card. I don't remember exactly how I found my video card on NVidia, but probably through Google or some such thing. Either way, you have to know what your video card is. If you know it, great. If not, dxdiag it.
By dxdiag, I mean go to Start and then Run. Type in dxdiag and click ok. A window will come up with information on your computer. At the top, click the tab for "Display." Then, under the group titled "Device," you should see the name of your video card as the first piece of information.
Try to find the dowload that's right for you by going to http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp. But, like I said, this is where I found the link for uninstalling your previous drivers, first. (http://www.nvidia.com/object/driver_installation_hints.html)

Alright, well, since your card isn't NVidia, you won't need to go to the Nvidia website. Using the information you provided, I found the graphics driver download for Windows XP (saw that's what you said in an earlier post).
You can download the driver by clicking: http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/T8Clearance.aspx?sType=&agr=N&ProductID=865&DwnldID=9033&url=/9033/a08/win2k_xp14103.exe&PrdMap=&strOSs=45&OSFullName=Windows*%20XP%20Home%20Edition&lang=eng
Or, if you'd like to check out the info for the download: http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=N&ProductID=865&DwnldID=9033&strOSs=45&OSFullName=Windows*%20XP%20Home%20Edition&lang=eng
Hope it works!

ATI = update from ATI.com. Download the newer graphics card drivers from ATI, uninstall your current ones, reboot, and install the new ones.
Intel = update from intel.com Download the newer graphics card drivers, uninstall your current ones, reboot, and install the new ones.

Go to this website: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intel852gm/
Click on the link "Get the Final Graphics Driver - Version
PV14.19.50". Download it, and run it as administrator. There's nothing else you need to do.
The 64MB- is that system, or is that graphics?

Try looking for your actual video card. Installing random drivers for stupid things isnt going to help you out at all.
