i played silkroad allong time ago but i want to play it now , so i reinstalled it and got this error, then i restored my computer then install and same error. can somone help me i already got the oct version of direct x 9 and xp latest graphic drivers.

ive tried EVERYTHING that came into my mind... and im a quite imaginative person.. but still doesnt work



and no, my drivers didnt change since last time i played

so its prolly not my computer fault.... which means its the installers fault ?

i had this problem. I KICKED MYSELF IN THE HEAD WHEN I FIGURED IT OUT! go to ur control panel and turn off ur firewall. Also if u have norton's or a simular program turn the firewall off. when u turn all ur firewalls off and double click the startup icon it will update the version u downloaded. I hope this helps u.

this crash is AFTER the game and GG updates.... so connection is working...

if a firewall was blocking it, u would get the server undergoin inspection dumb message


however, i still tried it, firewall off and i still get the error
