Installation problems

I usedto have SRP,but my comp crashed. I downloaded Silkroad CLient and Direct X 9.0c, but when I tried to re-install it I got a runtime error saying it was being used in an unusual way. Then I tried downloading a manual patch and extracted the.zip file into the program folder but still nothing happened.

you still have to run the manual patch, not just copy it somewhere. I don't think you need it anymore though because the server isn't being flooded now so you should be able to download the patch the normal way but I'm not sure. Anyway, run it from any directory, it doesn't matter at all where it is and it will patch it. But since your system crashed it may be that you're not using the latest graphics card driver so go to the manufacturer's site and download the latest drivers for your exact card and install them.

great, more problems.I extracted the patch from the zip file, fan it, click start patch but it said it can't work with client 1.066 or something b/c it said itonly worke dwith 1.065
