Another graphic card problem

how do i solve this problem?
i can't see anything.

DirectX 9.0C. FX 5700. Latest drivers. 1.5 GB RAM. P4@3Ghz.

Well if installing the latest drivers doesn't work. Here are some of my comments/suggestions:

(1) Is this your first time running this game? If not, what did you install (hardware or software) recently? Uninstall everything you installed before this issue happened. This includes video drivers. Sometimes nVidia releases drivers that have issues. Try downloading the version that you got when you were not having any issues with your video. Try playing other games to see if the issue exists with other games.

(2) Try reseating your videocard in its slot

(3) Reinstall Windows

That's all I could think of right now. Hope this helps. If the problem exists with other games and the os has been reinstalled then its probably your video card. You may need to replace it.

it's not my video card. Other games work well. It's the first time running this game. I guess the only solution to see if the game works is to reinstall windows. I was afraid of that. :banghead:

ok I have the exact same problem as you now, and I wouldnt reinstall windows. Silkroad demands a good video card. For example, I can play FlyFF and Rakion without any problems whatsoever, but when I try to play Silkroad now it messes up. The thing is that I believe the reason is that my graphics card burned out and I had to replace it with an old, borrowed one for a while. I hope I'm in time to stop u from re-installing, because I dont think thats the problem, though I think my "new" graphics card is much worse than yours.
