Silkroad R on Windows 8

Hello,

I have come across a little problem in running the game. After Gameguard shows up and patches, I am stuck with the launcher on screen with a missing Start button.

I have tried all possible solutions on resolving this issue. I have exempted Silkroad in Firewall, ran it as Admin, added it on DEP, tried running it in Compatibility mode. Still no luck.

I have ran out of ideas on solving this issue. So I have come here to ask for help, hoping that there might be another soul out there experiencing the same demise as me.

I'm running Windows 8 as well, and this has never happened to me.
I suppose you've already tried simply uninstalling it, and then installing it again?

Also, make sure that your anti-virus software isn't modifying or deleting any files from the Silkroad-R folder.
