when I click on start, it says filed to start silk road error code (2)

if anyone could answer this question it would be greatly appeciated.

Tried reinstalling silkroad?

I had same error, and had to reinstall.

actually, it occurred straight after a virus and spyware scan, using Kaspersky and Counterspy, never had a prob before.

anyways, a reinstall worked for me.

Actually silkroad application does not require registry keys to be executed. So it's not neccessary to redownload installer and reinstall. I just keep the clean backup of silkroad folder from program files and if i screw up my installation i only need to remove it and copy over from backup files
