[GUIDES] How to Solve SRO Connection Problem in Malaysia.

For those who have tried, you should be familiar. 1300 88 9515.

I am a computer retard. Don't really know much about how IP works and how Port works. But anyways.

I have been doing this ALOT. B4 you call in, do a few tests to see what the problem really is.

1. Call in, press 2, press 1. This should bring you to the technical support. They will always announce should there be any outage. Listen carefully. If your area is not affected, its time to file your complain. If you area is having interruption and they are "trying" to restore, wait until it is done. If problem persist, call in again.

2. Make sure they open a report, because that is the only way they will follow up to your case.

3. You need to know the problem for them to fix it. If you let them to diagnose for you, it will take weeks/months. Trust me, 90% of the time, problem lies with Streamyx, not JM/Korea.

4. If your connection speed is good but u can't connect to game server and you can't load http://www.joymax.com/silkroad but still able to load http://kr.joymax.com/silkroad. Tell them to unblock Joymax's Port.
If your connection is sucky all the time while your friends living in the same Area as you are having good connections, tell them abt it and get them to reset your port.

P.S: Everytime you call in, make sure to tell them you have done all standard diagnostics. Or they will tell you to reboot computer, reboot modem, do direct connection, dns flush, and all sorts of useless shit. Get them to jump right to the problem.

Don't ask me why would they block JM's Port. Idk, I've atleast requested it to be unblocked 5 times now. Everytime it works like magic.

SRO game is make for money spend. If u want to save money, u waste time. If u waste money, u save time.
