HELP! my laptop screen problem

ok, i am typing from my desktop, where i hardly use, since it is not a computer where i can dl all my crap on, and i already got an laptop.



SO my problem is, my laptop is currently blank, or just not showing me pictures, my screen is like blank, all functions are still working, and works fine, but i can't seem to see anything anymore.


its like i can see my laptop's desktop, and use the stuff, but the "back light" in my laptop is dead now.

i can't freaking see anything!!!

someone help me on how to fix this

Greetings. My laptop screen started going black quite frequently while the computer is on. It doesn't black out 100% because I can still very barely make out the contents of the computer if I squint just right. The only way to fix this problem has been to turn the computer off (power button) and back on again. Sometimes even that doesn't help the screen and I have to try restarting again until the screen works. Right now the screen is fine, but I'm sure this thing will happen again. I don't otherwise have any problems with the LCD display. It works great when it does. This started happening more frequently, almost every day now, and there is no noise or any kind of warning when the screen blacks out. Any help? Thanks a lot!

its probably the cables from the main part of the laptop to the monitor part waring out or something along those lines, this is something that is probably going to have to be taken to a professional service or a good friend of yours thats good with laptops.

thx for replying, i kind of did a bit of searching while i was in school, and it talked about light or something about floresent light being burned, and i need to fix it.


i guess i can always try geek squad help from best buys

yeah that probably your best bet, its nothing really i can tell what it is or how to fix or anyone else without actually inspecting it.
