How come there are no servers?!?!

Every time i try to get in a server it says that it is being updated or a inspection is going on, is this happening to anyone else if not somebody please help me out

whenever i get that i think its just cuz its really busy and server can't handle anymore people so they say that just so no more people go on... i ignore it and i get on anyways

I sometimes get this message when my internet connection is down. However, yours is working because obviously you made it to this forum. Did you mess around with your router and shut down some ports or anything like that?

no because i am new and just installed it a few days ago! :cry:

and it also says go to silkroadonline.net, but that didn't help!!

So what do i do!?!

this is exactly what it says: ''The server is undergoing inspection or updates. Connect to http://www.silkroadonline.net for more information.

This is so confuseing

its the standard message you get when the sro client cant conect to internet

you probbly neeed to fool around with your firewall or router or something im no computer pro .. this is all i can tell you =(

I did that but .. do i need to download anyting besides the patch and direct X?? or is there something i did wrong

Yeah, when theres a prob with my internet, I get a message that sais

"The server is currentley undergoing an inspection or update, please check silkroadonline.net for details"... then I just wait for the Charter guys to fix the cable.

go to Technical Help,
'THey have thread to fix it.

Usually you have to go to:
C:/WINDOWS/System32/drivers/etc then open Hosts in a text editor. Put this under 127.0.0.1

Save file then play SRO

sometimes my sro wont work i just unplug the router and plug it back in... refreshs the network and allows the gaming to begin
