Bugged?

Post by SethKinast »

I'm trying for over 10hrs now to open Silkroad. But It keeps saying:

"Server is undergoing updates or inspection. Connect to 'http://www.silkroadonline.net'."
Although the site says that the inspection is over.

Is this a bug or am I not the only one experiencing this?

make shure you have it unblocked in your firewall and no anti-virus software running .... because you normally get that if the game cannot connect.

It's unblocked, and AntiVirus programs are never running when I game.
I re-installed the game, and now when I click the icon it ways:

'An error has appeared on Silkroadonline blabla" and it closes.

I downloaded it and installed it again. But it still says that there is an error in silkroad.exe.

This is really getting to work on my nerves.

lol sry bout the multiple post...my connection kept timing out and i kept clicking....sux i can't delete my own posts...

anyway...do u have a separate firewall program (ie. Zone Alarm, e-Trust, Norton Personal Firewall)?? If u do, completely disable them then try again (if your system is behind a cable/dsl router u dont need firewall software anyway, the router acts as a hardware firewall). If u dont try booting the system up to "Safe Mode with Networking" and testing the game there.

If u don't know how to get to safe mode, read my post in this thread:
