Silkroad Online Install program has stopped working

Whenever I try to install SRO, I get a message from Windows that says "Silkroad Online Install program has stopped working" and then it closes the SRO install.

This happens after choosing the install directory and clicking "install".

I've tried installing with and without admin privs. Also, with and without the UAC.

I'm running Vista Ultimate.

Any help?

Well, did ya try getting the installer from different sources? I remember there was a problem with Vista running SRO quite a while ago, but I am not sure if its still around. See the installers from different sources (Fileshack has a good installer known to work the best.)

Yea, I've tried Fileshack, Download.com, and another that I can't remember. All of them do the same thing.
