Ok i have a netgear CG814WG, that i got from Time Warner Cable. (Cable Company)
Ok so for a few months the router was working just just fine. Then one day my uncle comes over and says "Netgear..man yo'll must have terrible connection" I was like nope its good then the next day It just starts cutting off. I feel it and its really hot. So i take out the plug and let it cool down. Replug it up and it works great for 10 minutes then its hot again and stops working. So i was wondering do i just need a new router? it was working great before..it just started overheating i guess. What type of router should i get that i can hook up to my cable wire?

I would suggest that if there is a bad source of ventilation such as somthing that sits on top of it change the positions and see how that is. If that does not work get a very high end and amke sure it has good ventilation.
