Internet Problem.....

Does anyone know or has ever had this problem before? My wireless keeps like cutting out...like it will run all day..but then it cuts out for like 10-30 min then it comes back again....it dcs me after i have logged on which is hard when you dont have prem...i reset the modem but that didnt help....

I used to run wireless, now I just use a cable but I still have the modem.

This use to happen to me sometimes, not that often tho, who is your ISP?

I switched becuase my I moved and my computer and Xbox 360 are now close together.

I still never get host on Halo 3 tho. -.-'

I have wireless too, when we got another ISP which increased our speed by 2.5x, the router dc-ed me 10x a day for a few secs and then come back on, dc-ing me of sro and everything else which was quite annoying..

I bought a new router, seemed like my old router couldn't take the speed

Try connecting over just a wired connection. If the problem still exists get your telephone line checked.. chances are the cables are frayed and the signal is getting corrupted ( had the same problem ).

If thats not the case try using a friends wireless router and see what happens.

This is exactly what i get on my laptop. Its so annoying even when u do have a premium. On some days it disconnects every 30 seconds which makes it impossible to use. I use a wireless router as well.

Try getting newer drivers for it, I had the same thing before with drivers from the box but not anymore with updated ones

This used to happen to my 5 year old wireless. I got it upgraded and now i download as fast as wired users and play with no problem. Sometimes you can update your firmware.
