(nothing to do with update) PLZ HELP, I CANT PLAY SRO!!!!

well not me, my friend has a dell laptop, xp.

i have the new graphics driver installed and everything, but when i finally get into the game ( WHICH TAKES FOREVER ) after loading, the game is weird.

i can c everything, except no npcs or ppl.

I have no hp or mp.

everytime i try to raise a skill, it wont let me.

i cant move at all.

obviously i think it freezes or disconnects after taking forever to load.

i can still see the beginning messages and item mall notice, etc.

ps. there is no mssg saying that i disconnected or anything sometimes, and sometimes it says i disconnected from server.


can anyone help me plz!!! i want my friend to play.

its something wrong with your internet connection to the server causing it i suggest unpluging your router/bridge and reconnecting it and try again.

has your friend ever played it normally w/o any problems?

hes never been able to play it anywhere, wifi or my house where the internet works perfectly and i can play it on this computer.

its definitely his crappy laptop, is there any solution to make it run or anything?

hmmm not really it sounds like his wireless card is crap or w/e he uses to connect to the internet is damaged or very old.

does it take a long time to load web pages for him, or is it just sro, or is it all games he trys to play?

its just sro. everything else on his comp runs flawlessly.

hmmm well i would suggest to start, to reinstall and see if that helps, it never hurts, unfortunately its hard for me to tell what exactly the problem is in this kind of situation, weather it is the server or your friends laptop considering he has used different places to connect with the same result.

Im having the same problem right now, on both of my PC's

Sro just crashed on both PCs at the same time, and now when I try to log in, I get the code, but then nothing happens. No The server is full message or anything. OR when i DO get in, I get the same problem as the topic starter.

edit: Now it works again, I think my isp had some problems.
