Speakers Problem .. *sigh* again ...

Well... once again after I reinstaled my PC .. my speakers stopped working .... I can hear my speakers when there is some random windows sound (like emptying recycle bin) or when I try to test them

But I cant listen to any mp3-s or cant hear any music while browsing Youtube ...
Can someone help?

can you play cd's

try this
right click on speaker icon in taskbar
choose "open volume control"
Go to properties, choose all items you use or want to use
then click "ok"
then check to be sure whatever you want is not muted or volume is turned to zero for that item

if this dont work, be sure you have installed the latest drivers for you sound, and for windows version you use
