installing silkroad

Post by Migz221 »

ok so i dowloaded the client off of the silkroad website and it took a while. Then i hav a box in my folder i saved it to. i click on it, it says please wait then the silkroad box comes up. I press install then it asks where i want to save it. its already set to programs so i stay with that. I click start and a box comes up saying

"SilkroadOnline_GlobalOfficial_v1_138.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close, we are sorry for the inconvenience."

then it closes out and i try again but the same thing happens. ive already tried deleting it and downloading it again but still this occurs. any help?

I'm tired of telling ppl this geez. ok.

Completely Delete all the traces of silkroad installer from your computer and use ccleaner or something http://www.filehippo.com/download/98383 ... /download/

Or this topic #14 on teh list viewtopic.php?f=12&t=42299

Then fix registry and redownload the installation file and Install. While it's installing, don't run any programs that interact with temp folder, don't delete anything from comp, not even history.

nah yea i fixed this problem not the way blackdragon said. If you go to the silkroad website forums theres a thing where it says if u hav this problem u just need to make sure u hav 5GB of disk space free. I had less then 1GB when it wudnt work then i freed some stuff up and maybe had 3GB then it worked. Basicly if u hav this problem just free up some disk space, it cud b alot u need to free up tho
