Post by Sinner »

Hey guys, didn`t want to make a topic, but I guees I`m not the only one with this kind of **** =\
Well, after todays morning ( My time zone.. ) I`m getting every 20 minutes or so DC with the ????? ... My video card is good, and my drivers are new also... And sometime my client just freeze ... and I can`t do anything ... Some of my guild mates have the same issue, some got less dc, some got every 5 minutes... Does any one else have this?

I get the same problem. Tried updating sound drivers, video drivers, turning firewall off etc. Though after reading the stickied section it sais to make sure windows is up to date.. well i turned auto updates off and i now have 700 meg of updates to download >.<

Ill post the results in the morning when i finish. But what i have done so far has helped, but certainly not fixed it.

This problem started on all 3 of my SRO PCs after the last client update a few weeks ago.

All 3 PCs are using dual core processors.

The only thing I've been able to do that actually helped was to go into Task Manager with SRO running (hit Ctrl-Shift-Esc) then go to the Processes tab, right click on sro_client.exe, choose Set Affinity.

From the window that comes up, UNCHECK all except for CPU 0... leave CPU 0 checked.

It has helped on all 3 of my machines, but I'm sure it's not a magic perfect fix. Good luck.
