I have been searching the forums and read all the alchemy guides but I just want to know something
suppose you have a normal item and you use an intensifying elixir on it (lets just use a bow as an example)
and then it is successful and it becomes +1
what does that +1 mean? does hte +1 apply only to str, int? or attack rating? like what im sayin gis what specifically does the +1, or +5 or +9 for someppl mean exactlY?
and does the item turn blue if it starts out white? or do white items just stay white and blue stay blue?
i already understand how to use an elixir and how they work but i want to know the significance of the +1 and what it actually does for you
P.S. if anyone can answer this with pictures and examples to show, id love that

Re: Item +
Can't use pictures because I'm lazy but I think you'll understand what I say..
If you use an elixir on a bow and it succeeds to +1, it simply means that it will be stronger. The physical and magical attack will change to a higher number and you will do more damage.
If the item is white it will stay white, you have to add blues with tablets that can be turned into stones with elements.
For example if you wanted to add STR to your weapon you would have to find a STR tab.. make it into a stone using elements (it tells you how many of each type of element you need) and then put it in the alchemy window and hit fuse.
If it succeeds the weapons name will turn blue and a STR 1~x will appear at the bottom of it. If it fails.. it simply fails.

Re: Item +
thanx a lot and so is
+2 like a lot stronger than +1 and is +3 like way stronger than +2 as opposed to +2 compared to +1 (if you get it)
+3:+2 > +2:+1? bc i woudl think the risks are much higher at higher lvls so the bonus shoudl be much much better

Re: Item +
Nope.. it's a constant, you can go to nivlam.com and compare stats of weapons.. I just went and compared a level 85 bow and each plus gives you 32 more physical attack power.
Re: Item +
By adding + on weapon, you increase his "level".
If you have lvl 32 bow and success +3, your bow will have the same attack power as a bow lvl 35.
If you have lvl 32 bow and success +3, your bow will have the same attack power as a bow lvl 35.

Re: Item +
Yeah, each plus doesn't make a HUGE difference, but every little bit counts. Plus at +3 the shine comes in and then even cooler shines after that. Unfortunately +3 is my limit cuz I'm not filthy rich and buying 1000000 weap elixirs. And my luck is bad so I'd probably get +5 and then it'd destroy itself or something lol.
