Why so much farm?

Hi, I just started play SRO and read in the forums much about sp farming and such. It seems kinda boring to me to spend several weeks to farm same mob to get like 30k sp? Cant you just get sp while you leveling? And why wouldnt that sp amount be enough? Either game developer sucks cuz if all new players gonna level up their chars to like lvl 20-30 and the realize they suck cuz they havent farmed sp? I kinda loosed hope on my main char since I dont wanna spend hours and hours just to get tons of sp. I wanna level and feel that I accomplished something. Getting new weapon and gear doing new quest. I guess this game isent anything for me since I will get raped in pvp when I hit higher lvl since I havent sp farmed?

Its a choice, farm or don't
Not farming = less skills but faster leveling.
Farming = a lot more skill but more time.
Then again what do high level users know about SP ??

Sp is needed to lvl faster. There are ways to get fast sp (ongfarm is the most known way), but there are other alternatives.
Yes you do get sp while grinding, but it is not enough to max out your skills every new lvl you gain (on a 0/1 gap), with a bigger gap it will work but then you will lvl alot slower.
There are ways you don't have to farm, by like going pure fire/ice wiz or something.
Just use
http://www.nivlam.com/euro or
http://www.nivlam.com/char to calculate how much sp your build needs and then use
http://www.nivlam.com/sp to determine when to gap and when to close your gap.

U can always train with a gap and it depends what character u are. If u are chinese u have to go like 5 gap all the time or more. If ur chinese and only use Warrior or such u wont need a high gap.

Yeah, if you want to be weak Warrior, you dont need to farm ...
Warrior FF with Cleric sub takes ~ 1 mil SP at cap.
