im so noob i dont know what s/s and like 5:1 or 7:1 mean

s/s means sword/shield referring to the chinese INT nuker build, not 1h which refers to euro 1handed sword/shield-wielding warrior

Yeah, I know, the search function gives too many results and doesn't make it easy to find what you want, but there are lots of posts about this.

OK, I'm no expert, but:

When you lvl up, the game adds 1 point each to str and int and you have 3 points to add yourself, so how you distribute them determines what sort of hybrid which determines differences in def and dmg output.

So;

Ratio hybrid:
eg 1:2
That would mean adding 1 point to str each lvl, 2 to int
1:5, 1 point to str and 2 to int then next lvl all to int. Rinse and repeat

Balance hybrid:
eg 90%
When you lvl up you need to remove all gear that adds bonuses to str and int, open 'C' and look at your phys:mag balance
Then you add points to push whicher one you're aiming for to approach that target %
70:70 is the same idea, but trying to get both phys and mag to 70% (usually you'd end up with ~70:69 or 69:70)

As to what all that means in terms of which hybrid is best for your character, you'd have to get advice from those who play hybrids
