Question: anyone know how to charge silk with a gift card?
Rant:
Spoiler!
Visa gift Card. Alright, so I've been trying to buy silk for the last 3 days and it isn't working. I went to the store, bought a gift Card (apparently they work like credit cards, so I thought; hey, I have a job now. no loss; right?), wanted to charge 200 silk (100*2). So I go to the paypal site, register. You know, routine stuff. Then I go to the SRO website and click silk charge. Next I click paypal, then I click 10 USD. So I'm on the charge page, I click use credit or debit card, because if I log in on paypal it expects me to use my Bank Information. (Not gonna happen, that Money is for last minute ATM rushes). So I enter my card info, confirm, then bam. It says the transaction failed. Seriously wth?
So I tried connecting the card to the paypal account. So the card is linked, now it wants me to confirm it with a 4 digit paypal code. I have no idea what the hell that means. So I'm like, sweet the card is linked. So I want to transfer half of the money on the card to the paypal account. Apparently I can't even use the bloody card yet. It needs to be confirmed.
Rant*2:
Spoiler!
And now the fucking game won't fucking update. fuck.

That's what I've been doing, but I think I have to do something differently because I'm using a gift card. I'll try calling or emailing paypal.
the lady at the store said I could buy stuff online >_> *lier

25$ Visa for now. Could you give me a step by step?
Here's what I don't get:
Since it's a gift card it doesn't have a real billing address. How did you confirm it?
Like what did you do. step 1-??

See were it says "unverified" you must have the papal acc verified. This alows you to get a Gift Card. You can follow the steps at Paypal. Paypal will send you .01 - .99 then you have to verify that you got the cents in your statment then you type the number into paypal and your acc is verified. But you can just go to Paypal and they will expliane everything there.

mate scrap using it through paypal like your doing. buy silk like you would with a normal credit card but with your visa gift card. you don't need to go through paypal unless your planning of uploading the cash and buying silk so you can possibly charge back in the future.
but if you've got no plans to charge back you may aswell use it like a normal credit card. i've had no troubles purchasing silk with a mastercard gift card in that manor. pm me if you need more help ^^

You don't even need Paypal with the gift cards. I've been buying the $30 cards from Walgreens. Then I hit Silkroad site, buy silk, pops up the Paypal window, pay without an account (or something like that)
