I want to ask, some1 told me in game that glavie is the weakest dmg maker weapon, he said that bows, sword and blade deals more dmg than a glavie, its this true?

LOL glavie is strongest str wep for chinese then bow then blade

best at what? damage? tank? tank and damage? str damage?

blade is least damage tho...

First you said that sword, bow and spear make more dmg than a glavie (and blade make more dmg than glavie at high lvl ->glavie the weakest weapon), then when i say that i posted at silkroad forum you said that spear is the best or something like that, after this you said about bow the best, after all this i would like to say your a noob.

Highest DMG:
1. INT Spear (low defence, higher HP than INT S/S)
2. INT S/S (has a shield, lower HP than INT Spear)
3. Hybrid INT Spear (more HP than pure)
4. Hybrid INT S/S (more HP than pure)
5. 70:70 Hybrid Bow (Higher dmg than bow, lower HP than bow)
5. STR Glaive (Highest HP, best overall dmg among STR)
6. STR Bow (High damage, often crit, low defence)
7. STR Blade (high defence because of shield)

Highest HP:
1. STR Glaive
2. STR Bow / STR Blade
3. 70:70 Bow
4. Hybrid INT Spear
5. INT Spear and/or Hybrid INT S/S
6. INT S/S

Highest defence
1. Anything with a shield
2. Everything else

Yea thats true and highest crit=highest damage.. So since bow have the best crit among all str Chinese then its the highest damage. Imagine a bow got 17 crit with 90%or higher......... So its highest damage. And plus even a glavier do beserk on mangyang.....still bow is higher damage cuz of the crit.

Well, the best damage dealer in Chinese (STR based) is obviously a Glavie (Looking at 1 hit only). But I think that a Bow can go over that if you look on more hits (Say 10) since a Bow hits quick, and I think that most of the glavie skills are slower than bow skills too, but I could be talking crap now too (Bow crits better too so if you include crits in the 10 hits, bow will probably win that).

The problem with glaives is that their highest damage move (soul spear) consists of 2 attacks after book3 where a bow has 2 1shot high attacks.

Thus a crit of a bow on strongbow/explosion arrow will lok higher because a glaiver needs to pull out 2 crits on the same skill for a higher damage.
Then again, he'll have an easier chance to crit once out of 2 attacks.
