pk2 editing buffs

before i go and get wound up about it not working, how can i edit buffs?
do i replace shots in skilleffect or what?
btw i dont do find/replace
im looking to change the snowshield but im not sure how to do it can sum1 just advise me?
o btw still dno what to change in ice nuke to make them meteors lol!
