About additional quick slot

I have to press space then 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 to use the skill/item on my quick slot. I was wondering if there is any other way to use it without pressing space bar. Tnx

well another "way" is just to cursor over the skill/item in that skill bar and right-click it.

but i would gather you know that, and are looking for another way to assign new shortcuts to these skills/items?
