a little hlp plz
i hav a lvl 9 wizard

1.wht determines whether a class, is a subclass or main class?
rit now i hav just put points in wizard mastery
cold and earthquake(spirit as well as the elementary attack spells) and one in fire spirit to use fire trap
stat is pure int

2.the char is super strong but super weak too,
so which subclass should i opt for warlock or cleric or bard or none
from wht i can figure out, cleric will allow me to wear light armor which would hlp in phy.defence as compared to robe, and it can provide some healing spells, so wht is the advantage of chosing warlock or bard
also how to quickly switch weapons?

3.also i am keeping a differnce of 3 btw my mastery lvl and char. level, will that be sufficiient throughout the game or i have to sp farm???

plz answer keeping in mind tht i plan to solo lvl in the game, i hardly get into parties while lvling, so whtever i do i would do alone, probably 1 or 2 friends, tht's all

4. i plan to keep a magic balance of 90%, will tht be a rit choice considering the above said conditions

one more thing for all the kind souls who decide to hlp me, plz don't advice to change char to warrior or ny other non-magic char coz i am mage freak, can't liv without magic

1. Wiz is always main class i think. Good subs are cleric, lock or bard like u said.

2. Choose bard (moving speed + noise) or cleric (bless spell, recovery division,...) as sub. Don't think u need lock coz u make enough dmg already. If u want lock then u should make that ur main and again use cleric or bard as sub...

3. For the amount of sp u need plz check http://www.nivlam.com. It can calculate how mutch sp u need for a certain build and also u can calculate the sp u get gapping.

4. Wiz should ALWAYS go pure int, dont make a hybrid The higher ur magical balance, the higher ur magical dmg and that's what u want.

your sub class is what you add to gain a few extra benefits

Wizard can be a sub class

Bard can be one of best sub class for wizard, you add moving march and noise, which can keep a wizard alive

1. The Class that has a higher Mastery Level is the Main Class. When your at level 90 fully farmed, both classes will be maxed. At that point you determine which is your main and which is your sub. Until then, the class with the higher mastery level is your main class.
   
   
2. It depends on your server. If there are parties on your server, then I would reccomend Cleric. If there aren't you can go either Cleric or Bard depending on what you expect to do more. Bard is great for solo play, but also required for Party Play. Warlock is for more offense and defense in the form of de-buffs and interruption skills. If you don't mind farming, I recommend Cleric or Warlock. If you just want to level quickly, I'm telling you to take bard.
   
   
3. Use http://www.nivlam.com to determine how much SP you need for your main and subclass.
   
   
4. A WIZARD SHOULD NOT GO HYBRID UNLESS HE/SHE HAS A WARRIOR OR ROGUE SUBCLASS.
