Being a hunter at low levels

Is probably a bad idea, maybe even a VERY bad idea XP. Anyway I had 2 questions:

1. Do you still lose 2% when you die even though you're jobbing?

and

2. Why are the hunters on Saturn JERKS and ignore you when you want to help? I mean atleast say "No I don't want help" or "No I don't want a lower level with me" or something.

Lulz, cuz they dont need your help. Do you have any idea of how annoying is to answer every single question when you have a high lvl char, especially when you are jobbing? there is always a low lvl char asking for party in middle of a job war or trade, or asking for pwr lvl, gold, guild, what is your lvl, where are you from....WTF?!!!1!
Just wait to have a high lvl char. Then you will understand those "JERKS".

Nah, they're just jerks, because I don't sit there and bug like that lol. I just want to go hunting in a group because its way more awesome to see like 5+ hunters slaying thieves then 1 lonely one.

Also, I have another question: With the new trader protect (under lvl 40, 1 stars can't be attacked) is there any protection for hunters? like maybe, if you're under lvl 40, lvl 40+ thieves can't attack you or something (and obviously you can't attack them)? Because that would be... so hot lol.

I'm thinking of making another character to go thieving on. Hunters on saturn are never organized, they just go hunting whenever they want and never together. But the thieves, there's always a big party of them and they usually run in groups of atleast 3.

Rather than scorning the low levels, hunters should be thankful for them and take them along so that one nuke or attack from a thief will not go towards the high levels XP.

My char's a lvl 32 1h. He could take 2 hits from Muijigi at lvl 27. So I know he could absorb a nuke or 2 from a lvl 40+ XD. Especially now that he's higher lvl. Cannon fodder indeed!

WRONGZORS!
Lol, jk :D

A Muijigi gives phy damage, and a nuker gives mag damage.
Mag damage is mostly higher, and because you wear heavy armor(right?) you wont have much mag defence.

(Atleast I think muijigi is phy)

Sorry but not a bright idea.

First you say you are not buging high lvls but 1 or 2 questions is enough. What do you think whats the amount of questions highg lvl gets in a day?? freekin 2 much, so most of the time i just ignore all of them.

Second thiefs allways attack high lvls first because they are more of a threat, you cant hurt them anyways :)

and last do you know how nervous people get when escorting complete stranger in trade and that low lvl is realy noob, and doesnt know what to do?

so here is the tip for you and in this way you will learn everything about trades:

lvl 20 - 39 = be trader and do 1* trades as much as you can (alone)

lvl 40 - 72 = be a thief and go in groups so you can swarm random
1 hunter encounters.

lvl 72 - 90 = be a hunter and then you can even go alone.

In this way you see all aspects of triangular system, yoiu get lot of experience as a player, and you can decide what job is best for you withouth much effort and frustration.

XD It does, but the point was if at lvl 27 he could take 2 of those hits, then at his current lvl of 35, a nuke shouldn't own him. It'd do more damage but proooobably not 1 hit.

Anyway good idea judais, but he's already lvl 35 and I don't want to do the 7 day job transfer thing lol. That is too long for me! =(

So I have my level 35 bard to do trade runs (lol @ some thief who tried to herd monsters on me, they got owned D:)

And I have my level 35 1 handed warrior. Who is surprisingly level a level 2 hunter.

Actually, as a 1h warrior in heavy armor one nuke from a wizard your level +/- 1 will kill you (if they're in LC mode). If they're not in LC mode, then Sprint double stab, shield trash (hope for dull and KB) Sprint double stab GG.

Tell that to my character in pvp? Takes a wizard about 3-4 levels higher to nuke me in 1 hit. (unless they've got like all SOX and + gear, then obviously I'm screwed XD)

Also, there's the chance of blocking, so if say, he's not in LC, then I can take 1 hit, and then block another, thus stopping 2 mean nukes from hitting someone else.

Also that combo wouldn't work, unless they died after shield trash. The delay for sprint assault is too big, which is why the combo I use is

Sprint Assault -> Slash -> Double Stab -> Slash -> Shield Trash -> Repeat

It takes that long for sprint assault to be useable again... so obviously you can see the problem with cutting of 2 slashes, it'd still be in cooldown. (Unless of course at higher levels the delay goes down, then maybe it'd work, mine's just lvl 2.

Its been months since I played my 1h, I forgot about that big delay. How is your gear? I always bought High crit weapons and High br shields but the rest was full NPC.

With these 3 words you will know how my gear is "I am poor". lol, it's not even that, if you haven't seen, I play Saturn, which is fairly new and probably mostly populated by bots... Nobody even sells stuff and I'm not a millionaire to spend on alchemy and weap elixirs and stuff...

I've just got the lvl 35 1h sword, crit 5 (Oh yeah, so cool </sarcasm>)
My Shield is lvl 32 +3, Str 3, Crit 9, BR's only 10 :(
My 5D gloves and boots give me some int and str (like 1 int and 4 str total)
And I have the special heavy armor helmet, the one you can't buy in stores, but its still 4D.
And my chest armor is a drop that's slightly better than the store one...
And I've got an SOS Int 3, 3D necklace (Yes 3D, but its the only SOS thing I've got and 3 int is cool too?).
Everything else is pretty much from the store.

I can never find equipment... I go from const to donwhang, never find a single thing I need... in dags and different staffs are what seem to sell the most, because that's what 80% of the weapon stalls have. Of course I could upgrade my equipment more, but I have no astral, no immortal, and my luck is -very- bad. So basically, my equips suck XD.

Also, I've noticed, that I'm about the only one on this forum with Saturn lol... Can't even find nice people from the forum to help meh out.
