Bloom effect mixes colors so it looks more colorfull(and its also lighter). I think if you set fixed(and max) anisotropic filtering(in GK properties) filtering it looks better. For antialiasing leave it default as it looks blurry with higher values.
Here is description of graphic effects: (from game itself, but it was never activated)
As the number of the game background increases, farther background can be seen, and as the number decreases, only nearby background will be displayed. The game speed can slow down as the number increases.
As the number of the character vision increases, farther characters, monsters can be seen, and as the number decreases, only nearby characters and monsters will be displayed. The game speed can slow down as the number increases.
Metallic sheen is the display of metallic effects on metallic materials such as armors and weapons. As higher it goes the the graphic quality will increase.
