What would you guys recommended for a Chinese pure int headed into 9D equipment?

well for grinding, the lvl 76-90 mobs are mainly a mix of magic/physical damage. so i think you should choose protector. but since you will be killing so fast anyways, maybe it wouldn't matter ;P

Garms FTW. IT confuses ppl to think you're pure str + with higher lvl cap, you will lose mag def.
Phy Def can be covered with the newer ice buffs. That and garms just look kooler... and I personally hate running slow.

Any other opinions for 9d?

depends what skills you have,
ice for phys defence, us garment
fire for mag dfence, use amour

Well all mobs at Roc mountain have imbue, so its no longer just magic or phy damage but a combo of both. But all pvp is like that too unless your fighting euro. Maybe this cap will see a rise in protector as a combatent to both magic and phy damages. oO

wat imbues do they got

Thw wing tribes have light imbut and do shock(lowers parry) and the anitinokes do fire imbue(burn dmg) I dont know what the other mobs do above the antinokes.

Fully Pimped Garms or Fully Pimped Protector. If you can't get REALLY, REALLY good garms then you're going to want a Protector set.

i dont like 9d protector that much cuz a mob could just like stab u and ya lol
