Rogue is right tho..All builds are made to even it out a bit, some a better on one side but weaker on the other and vica versa. Every build can pwn, you just need to know how to run it : )

If there was a 'best european build', don't you think EVERYONE would choose it? There's no such thing as a best build. EVERY single build is equal. The questions you need to ask yourselves are;

a) What build is easiset to level with
b) What build will require the least amount of SP
c) Am I prepared to choose a build that requires a lot of SP Farming
d) Will I have fun in the long run with this build, or will I have to start over

The reason there are so many different people playing different builds is that it all depends on what THEY want, not what other people think is best.

1]Do you like high dmg or Defense?

If you answered Defense, then do you like Low DPS, High DPS, or MASSIVE Def.
If you answered Dmg, then do you like High Survivability or Low Survivability.
If You answered Def do you like support?
If you Like support do you like aiding survival or aiding dmg dealing?

If you answered Def and High DPS then you want the Dual Axe Warrior.
If you Answered Def and Low DPS then you want 2h warrior.
If you answered Def (MASSIVE DEF) then you want the 1h warrior.

If You answered Decent Dmg with High Survivability you want 2h warrior.
If you answered Godly dmg with Low survivability then you want the wizard.
If you want medium survivability but massive dmg then you want the rogue.

If you like aiding survival of comrades then you want the cleric or bard.
If you like making sure your comrades get the kill then you want bard or warlock.

Now decide which is the best FOR YOU.

This kind of topic will only make most people tell that the build that they use, or THEY like is the best, and therefore, IMHO, you will not be able to rely on the results of it. YOU have to choose the one that is the best for YOU, choose the one which YOU like more. Try watching videos, reading guides, dunno what else, and then choose the one that seems better for YOU, choose the one with a style which YOU like. Hope you understand what I mean. And there is NOT a best build, its just that some people know how to use theirs(so they are strong with it), and ALL builds have some weaknesses, but ALL of them also have their strong points (except some obvious useless builds, that I think I dont even need to mention).

all the builds are fun, but if your talking euro, remember that it's based around PARTY and not solo.

and so even if bard are pretty much useless as attackers (not really...fast nuking speed), their buffs/dances are worth it
