pk2 editing gm armor

my char is female with 2nd degree stuff on but 3rd degree hands.

im trying to get it so my char has gm armor on but i cant get it to work!

what i did was extracted the _super files from data which was in res/item/china/man_item
renamed them to light_02_aa ect... and put them in entry name light_02_aa ect.

but that doesnt work?!? what am i doing wrong? can any1 explain how to do it?

If I remember correctly..change the .bsr entries for your own armor to the ones for the GM armor, and vice-versa with the GM armor. Should be done by extracting the files from Media.pk2 and then injecting back in. Read up on how to change your weapon or wolf and work from there, it's the same general edit.

which files do i change? characterdata.txt?

i guess i just replace the GM files with the protecter ones i got on now, and the protecter i got on now to GM files...

i tried it with the data.pk2 but it didnt work, no change so ill need to look into that but if its been tested a certain way, ill do that

They'd be in Itemdata.txt in media.pk2 if I remember correctly. Switch the .BSR's around for each item with the supers, and vice versa. Just make sure to inject itemdata back in media.pk2 when you're done the edit.
