ok... so
i bought a visa gift card last night and tried to use it.
it said i needed to give it additional money on paypal so i Xed out
i tried again just now... same card, etc.
i put charged $30 on it instead of what i tried last night ($50, its a $50 gift card)
it worked, said i had 300 silk now...
so i tried it again to charge the other $20...
same info, same card,
and it said the credit card number was not valid for this payment, please change the credit card number...
so i went back, put all same info in again, and didnt work again...

any clues to why this would happen?
thanks in advance

Try calling the number on the back of the card and make sure you have funds readily available.

When you do a transaction such as charging on a gift card. It charges you like a certain amount of money. So the first charge was $50.75 dollars. Then you charged $30.75 dollars. Now you try to charge 20 dollars you in reality you got 19.25 left in the account. Get it?

alright... thanks guys...
i tried the next day and it worked so
now tommorow have to charge the last $10. and yes, your theory is right, but i dont think i used paypal (meaning i logged onto my account), so i didnt have an extra charge put onto it.
but i could be wrong...we will see tomorrow
