You get exp from jobs, but you don't from cape. I use capes for duals or to prove who is stronger than who, you can also use cape PvP to do party PvP test.

If you could get xp from pvping I would be level 80 a loooooong time ago. Probably would have had 7 level 80s by now.

You dont get XP for pvping, but you dont lose it as well.
Jobs gives you XP, but not much. You loose XP when you die, but not as many as when you die PvE

a long time ago, you got like 1 exp from killing someone, but they fixed it, as i remember
