I am a warrior/cleric, and have only the essential cleric skills. i see people say that if you use a good cleric rod(+3 with blues?) for you current lvl then the skills you cast for ie. group recovery, you will heal more HP or something.... is this true? i saw some pics of lvl 80 warrior/cleric in their skill row thing, they have the 8th degree cleric rod, why not just use a lvl 1 rod?

i think it is true, but im uncertain, try it yourself, get a rod your own lvl, and get a lvl 1 rod, and test

there's a % reflect on those heal skills that increases the amount u heal according to the mag dmg of ur cleric rod (or mag dmg overall, not sure).

Magic attack (which is affected by int points and weapon) has a direct affect on healing ability.
So Yeah the better the weapon the more you will heal. Also int based characters will heal more then str characters. So recovery division will heal more when the weapon you hold has the highest magical attack spec.
